It is super...SUPER cold today and we are all home sick. I'm grateful that the flu symptoms are gone, but now the runny noses have begun. As Mr. Sonboul cleaned all the dust from the heater, I thought it would be a perfect treat for hot cocoa and guess what... it totally was. I made the brew loaded with chocolate, whipped cream, and marshmallows. Pretty much a whole lot of sugar ;) and the boys didn't complain one bit. It was warm and yummy... a classic drink to welcome Winter.
I poured this tasty and desirable treat into my favorite mason jars and topped it with chocolate hazelnut rolled wafers. Again... more sugar. I loved seeing the boys gobble this up and knowing that it was warming their little tummies. So today, on this cold day... I'm grateful for hot cocoa.
