This month I was asked to create a layout using my silhouette and American Crafts dies. You can see it on American Crafts blog here. I decided to use these adorable heart Keys from the Amy Tangerine line and felt they would be perfect for a Valentine's Day layout.
Just about everyone uses red and pink for Valentine's Day, but what about red and yellow? Red and yellow are hot in fashion right now and I LOVE the pop of surprise. I think they could be friends...how about you?
Because I want my keys to be my main focus, I am keeping my back ground papers clean and simple.
I cut all my keys out of yellow and red papers and matted them on the opposite color. Then popped them up to draw the focus to them.
Here is another red and yellow layout I did for Crate Paper last year. It's also a fun summer color combo.

Oh and wait... how about Mothers Day layout? I did this layout with the new Cosmo Cricket collection and it was in there booth this passing CHA2012. I added a pop of pink to it, so it would soften it up.
So, what do you think? Can Red and Yellow be friends?
