I love fabric banners and they fill up a room with bright colors. Which is always a great thing.
Today I'm sharing how I make my fabric banner really fast.
1- Pick out 5 colors/patterns of fabric you love. For this banner I cut out scallops, I simply rounded the end of the banners when cutting them out. Cut all your fabric and put the fabric in the order you will be sewing it together. This speeds up the process.
2 and 3-
4- Flip all scallops right side out, so you don't see the stitching.
5- Iron all the scallops, to give a clean crisp look.
6- Take a nice long thick ribbon (in the color you like) and sew all the tops of the scallops with a zig zag stitch onto the ribbon.
7- snip off all the unwanted fibers to give the banner a clean look.
And here it is all finish and hung up in the GCD Studios booth at CHA winter
Also here is a fun Video Cindy T did of our booth for Creating Keepsakes
