It started off as a good idea.
The plan was to eat carrots on the road trip to UT.
I counted and found out that 26 baby carrots
would = 1 point.
With 7 points worth of carrots, I jumped into the drivers
seat and began the drive.
I thought
"I totally love carrots. This is going to be easy".
By the time we hit Vegas I thought
"DUDE... my tummy is filling odd".
It was almost as if the carrots were floating at the top
of my tummy, which didn't feel great at all!
By St. George I was getting sick of them and
I was only done with 4 points worth. I still had 3 more points to go.
To save you from the math, that was a total of 104 baby carrot.
By Nephi I hit the limit and could no longer eat them.
I ate about 5.5 points of carrots and my tummy
oddly enough was growling.
My niece says to me
"You are so going to have orange poop".
We finally made it to Provo and I couldn't care less about those
remainder carrots. I needed the potty and fast!
To save you from the overly gross discription...
Let's just say, my niece was right!
lol
However, I did it. I kept my goal and didn't eat ANY junk food
while driving to UT. I used my points with perfection for each meal
and came home not gaining a point or even an ounce.
In fact I lost!
:)
P.S. I'm still going strong with the workouts and haven't
missed a day. I even got them in while on this mini trip.
This is a BIG step for me.
Wish me luck tonight. I'll be seeing if all this hard
work is paying off.

Good luck tonight and way to go !
Good for you!!! Yes, carrots can make you feel sick to your stomach :) I like them, but I can sit and eat an entire mini bag and regret it later :) :) hehe. I'm so proud of you for sticking to the work out!! Keep at it.

Heidi, I'm so happy for your success so far with the weight loss. Your carrot story was hilarious! But great job in staying within your goals. You are an inspiration.
ROTFL! I was bringing carrots to the office for my healthy snackies. And found that I was having some issues. Uh. Yeah. It's the carrots. Now they are an at-home snack ;)
Thank you for shharing this
