The Lucky Hat

We took the boys to a bug exhibit and we visited the butterflies.
It's one of my favorite things to do in May.
You walk into this big outdoor room filled with butterflies and as you stay still, they will land right on you.

While we visited the butterflies, Jason seemed to be loved by these beautiful little creatures. They landed on him over and over again. They loved his hat and I decided it was a lucky hat. They also loved his shirt and he got it to move onto his hand. SO COOL!

So I put the hat on Bradley and it worked.

Calvin however... did NOT want them to land on him AT ALL and he made it known! lol
He would scream every time they would even come close (which was a LOT). To get him to stop screaming, Jason said "Calvin, all you need to do is just do a little wiggle and they won't land on you". After that, he wiggled the rest of the time (until we left the big room).

Here are a few pictures of him giving them a NASTY look!

If you're ever in the bay area by USC go here. YOU'LL LOVE IT!

Fantabulous pics! Fun place...they have a butterfly habitat in Houston that we loved going to...too bad we didn't have the lucky hat, though.

That does sound cool! Is it only in May that you can go?
I think it's so funny what kids can be afraid of. Poor Calvin.
