Hello SunKissed

Here I am again with another post about my 2nd collection. I still can't believe I've made it to this point in my crafty little life. That I'm making my very own papers and I'm going to be completely honest. I'm totally scared to death. I stayed up all night thinking "what will the craft world think of these two collections?". I'm crossing my fingers you will like them as much as I do. That you are able to dream up many projects to make with these paper and embellishments.

If you've been reading my blog, you'll know that I'm a Cali girl. I grew up hanging out at the beach and skating, tanning and enjoying the sunshine. I really wanted to make something that reminds me to be happy and so I went with the brightest and cheerful colors I could think of. This is what I came up with

I would definitely need two sheets of each because I adore both sides so much. That star paper is my favorite! Congrats on another amazing line!

Cute collection! So happy for you that you're creating things and making others happy with them too. Cool prints - bikes and ice cream are classic summer to me, and Sassy Swimmers makes me smile. :) My favorite prints are the blue/teal ones - Weekend Adventures and Swim Lessons - so fun! Big congrats to you, Heidi!!

Wow - so me!! I was the skating queen in high school driving around in my blue VW Beetle just like the one in your design. This takes me back to the good old days of my youth. What fun times they were!! Your work is awesome. I love the color scheme you have chosen. Congratulations on chasing your dreams and succeeding. Thanks so much for the contribution to this world of scrapbooking that I love so much. Wishing you much continued success!!

I left a comment somewhere, but it ish't here, so don't know if you got it. I love this idea, but don't have a lot of either computer or scrapbooking experience or skill. Where did you find that size binder and how thick was it? Will it hold the whole year?
I hope to be able to do this, but am not sure if I can do it daily. In the other comment I said I'd like to do them for our 5 kids for Christmas next year, but forgot to mention 1 for us. :) but will need some help--like cutting the months etc. Can we email sometime?

Thanks

Wow..I am a Cali Girl too & have plenty of sun spots to prove it! They are reminders of the good times on the beaches and lakes in California. I LOVE this collection!! The bug, swimmers, waves etc. are so me. I also love the brads & borders, trims etc. I am ready for a hot sunny day here soon. Its COLD today with our "Arctic Storm" The folks back east must think we are crazy to complain. My UGGS are in Texas when I need them most. Left them on vacation..who knew I wouldn't wear them there and need them here???.. Congrats on your new collections..I am anxious to see all the CHA photos. I will look for your collections in the stores....Cheers & Happy New year!

This is such a nice summery collection, GCD for me represented only vintage and shabby chic now I know they are more eclectic than that, yay!!!
