It Was A Long Night and I Ate Past 7pm

Around 5pm on Sunday (yesterday), I get a call from my dad.
Dad: "Mom is REALLY sick and I'm taking her to the ER, can you come and help me".
I do a mad dash over to their home and right away I can tell she is REALLY sick!
We get her in the car and take her over to the ER.

She looked so ill coming into the ER and because of it, she got the only "real" room in the ER. They were really busy last night and people were in the halls on bed. I'm so glad that wasn't the case for her. After a few tests we got some results. It was a long list of things that might be wrong. After they got her hydrated, she started to fill a little bit better.

By this time it was about 11pm and I still hadn't eaten dinner. They finally decided to check her in for the night and around midnight, we got her in a room upstairs. The poor thing! She was breaking my heart! Once she was comfy and in her room, Dad and I went home. It was at that moment I realized HOW HUNGRY I WAS. The kind of hunger where your tummy hurts. So at about 12:30 am I stopped at Taco Bell. I got 2 burritos which was about 15 points. Oh well... there were more important things I needed to care about. However, I'm just sharing the food info trying to keep myself honest with food. Ya know...being that I'm not eating after 7pm.

So over all... it was a long night for my parent's and my mom is still not even close to filling 100% better. We'll have the results hopefully by lunch time today. I've never seen her this sick and it's not just a flu. If you all don't mind... do say a pray for her today.
Thanks
~H

NO sweat, Heidi...you ate those burritos Monday morning(not Sunday night)...you just started early at 12:30am. You didn't break ANY rules!! I even heard you were doing exercise in the hallways at the hospital. Don't worry, you've got this!

Love, Tam
