How I Did At WW This Week...OH MY WORD!!!

After a LONG week of
sweat...No blood and yes tears,
I stepped onto the scale holding my breath.

Trying to read the lady's face (that was weighing me in)
and hoping that she would smile.
When the smile didn't appear right away, I thought...
"oh man, it must not be that good".
(Smiles always mean that I've lost a lot.)

Then she broke her silence
"WOW... you have lost 6.4 lbs"

Feeling a burst and rush of excitement,
I totally squealed out loud.

So Here are my stats for 6 weeks of HARD...HARD work

Week 6: - 6.4 lbs
Total Weight lost in 6 weeks: -23.6
My weight at the start: 311.4 lbs
My weight now: 287.8 lbs
Total workouts done: 36

YES... I worked for every single pound.
I ate less and moved a whole heck of a lot more!

It really does work...if you put in the effort!

It's got to be so good to know you no longer weigh 300 pounds...yep, nothing really works like the good old, hard work! Now, send some motivation me way. I need to move more but I'm in lazy mode this last 2 weeks.

Way to go Heidi. I have been wanting to go back to WW for so long, it really works. I need to get motivated. I stepped on the scale on Monday and about had a heart attack I weighed 309 and was just sick. I have 7 kids (mostly grown) but I have a young son who is autistic and couldn't survive without his mom, I also have a 1 yr old grandson and my other son has one on the way, I need to lose weight for them AND myself. I feel so motivated by you right now that tomorrow I am going to dig out my WW log and start tracking (I can't afford the meetings yet)You Rock! Besides the food what else are you doing? Like walking or a workout, what is working for you? I need to know and challenge myself. You are doing so good. I will follow your blog to find out. Thank you for sharing.

First thanks so much for all the comments and sweet support :)

second...Susan,

For workouts I started with doing Zumba. I love dancing and it fits my personality. After I built myself up, I added in walking. The tricks is to move more and eat less. With the workout video and the walks I'm working out about 1.5 - 2 hours a day. That's why I'm getting such big numbers. However, do what's best for your body. Even if you are just active for 40 mins a day...that is great. Just MAKE sure you are sweating. If you are not sweating...you are not burning fat.

Good luck friend. You can do it. You just have to believe in yourself :)
