Happy late Easter

This past weekend was filled with tons of fun things! Before I get to that, make sure you check out World Wins blog. I am their Guest Design Artist for this month.
I came up with an idea to recycle plastic egg... after Easter and the candy is gone :)
Their site has all the info you'll need. Don't forget to leave some love there (a.k.a. comments).
Thursday
I'm not sure why, but Jason is not a fan of coloring eggs, so while he was at work, we colored eggs.
Calvin LOVES eggs! The funny thing is that I've never given him a hard boiled egg before. I'm not sure why, but I just haven't. While we were coloring the eggs, he would say "yum...yum! I LOVE EGGS".
When I gave him one to eat, he thought the yoke was cheese. lol
Saturday
We normally celebrate the Easter Bunny on Sunday. However last year my boy ate why to much sugar and by the time we got to church... it was mayhem! This year to fix the issue, we celebrated the "bunny" on Saturday. It worked beautiful!
The boys woke up, ate some candy
You can see the tags (for the baskets) I made on the GCD Studios Blog
At 9am we went to our friends for an Easter egg hunt and Breakfast.
Calvin wasted no time getting into more candy!
Later at 11:00 we went to Ikea to find a new Computer/work desk for me and lol we bought this bookcase instead.

Sunday
After the boys were all dressed I wanted a cute photo of them. Getting this photo was so hard!!! When Calvin smiled, Bradley was looking away.... and when Bradley would smile,Calvin, looked mad! Finally I got this one photo of them both looking happy ...together! It was an Easter miracle!
I'm so happy we did the "bunny" part on Saturday, because it allowed us to really celebrate "Easter" the right way. We talked with the boys about the meaning of this holiday and the love that Jesus gave us all.

Happy Late Easter everyone

Such cute photos!! I am *so* ridiculously jealous of your bookshelf! I have been trying to convince Brad to drive to Atlanta to the closest Ikea to get one. I saw one on a blog a few months ago and have been hooked ever since. A 3-ish hour drive for a bookshelf isn't crazy, is it?

Have a great week!! :)

Your boys are getting so big! I think it's a great idea to have the bunny come on Saturday so you can focus on the true meaning on Sunday. Cute pictures.
